My company needs new water coolers
I never knew there were so many options and water coolers. The tap water at my job is just horrible. You can actually smell it and it has a very bad odor. Finally after about six months of begging, my boss has agreed to order or bottled water. At least now I will not have to purchase my own. I like to drink at least eight glasses a day, and it can become very expensive to buy single portion bottles. I helped him pick the service and style of the cooler. In the last week, we have gone through about 50 gallons. I work in a big facility with over 1200 blue collar employees. The company has been going strong since 1950. I think the water coolers are nearly as old. I personally bring my own bottled water from home every day. The coolers do not have spring water in them. They are just piped in tap water. I am trying to get everyone to petition for new coolers with fresh bottled water. We have a lot of people working hard and sweating that need to stay hydrated. In my opinion, an employer should at least provide fresh, safe drinking water for its employees. That is not too much to ask.I hate drinking tap water. I work at a company that has two water coolers but they just cool regular tap water. I don’t like to drink all that fluoride because it is not good for your health. A few of us are getting together to purchase a water service because the boss is too cheap to take care of us. We don’t think we should have to pay for all of the employees to drink, but we will set up a donation box and hope to raise enough change to help offset the costs. I really do not feel like bringing my own water to work every day.
