05/23 The Good Thing About Drinking Wine

Wine is a alcoholic beverage that is made from fermented grape juice. Scientists have shown that the wine’s natural components allow it to ferment by itself without the addition of other factors for fermentation. The good thing about wine is that it is delicious and harmless. Studies have shown that drinking a glass of wine has healthy benefits. It also has been discovered that wine can help loss calories and fats.

Another good thing about wine is that its flavor can be improved. This is by allowing the particles and substances in wine react with the gaseous components in air, known as aeration. This is the reason why some let their wines breathe. This means that the wine is allowed to mix with the air. This mixing causes chemical reactions that result to the heating up of the wine. This heating up on the other hand, results to the release of the wine’s natural aroma and smell. After the release, the wine’s taste softens and mellow up, causing the overall flavor characteristic of the wine to enhance.

However, it is important to know the different ways on how to do this. It can either be through decantation or using the Wine aerator. Decantation is simply transferring the wine to another container. This is simple but is not likely to effectively aerate the wine. Wine aerator is a specialized device to aerate the wine. Among the two ways, using Wine aerators can be the most effective thing to use. Click on the link to learn and hear reviews of these devices.

05/20 my trip to india

Indian food sure is nice – I was at an indian restaraunt in LA the other week and it was outstanding… But what’s funny is that it’s not really anything like the food that you get in india. Go to the street stalls in india and you are served much different food than the standard butter chicken curry that you get at home.

You are served super spicy or just different tasting curries that are less sweet but more authentic.

Anyway when I was in india I just loved the dancing and night scene. I loved it because it was far removed from the western loud and fake club culture – in india they dance just becasue it’s fun. There is no need for alcohol to loosen the mood it just happens naturally. Everyone is so happy and vibrant and the women are very open. Perhaps it was just because I was from the US. The adult dating scene there is amazing… even though I wasn’t there to get laid - I guess they are the original karma sutra!

Back to food – I didn’t miss the western fast food at all! Orthough I got sick of mango lassies and coconut infused milk things. I also missed good clean water and privacy. On the whole the trip to india was one of amazment wonder enchantment and surprises. The joy and enthusiasm with which everyone went about their work was a real eye opener and I plan to go back soon to see another part of india – I am sure I will be equally amazed.
